John Chow Reports From Vancouver Meetup...

Here's the part pertinent to IMSLS:

"Networking is a big part of my success as a blogger. The contacts you make at networking events really can take your blog to the next level. The worst thing that can happen is you make some new friends. My next event stop will be in Boston for the Affiliate Summit East. If anyone wants to meet up before the big show, give me a shout."

Simon Leung Sent Email!

Hi Pam,

Hope you're having a good week!

As for me, I've been keeping busy the past
several days as I prepare to wrap up my
speaking tour for the summer.

In fact, this coming weekend in Orlando is
going to be my last scheduled U.S. seminar
speaking engagement of 2008 (not including
private workshops I personally organize).

For two years, I've pretty much been on the
road non-stop, speaking at various seminars
across the country.

And while I don't anticipate the travels to
end any time soon, I'll mostly be traveling
to expand my business Internationally.

This means that I'll be spending most of
the remainder of this year overseas.

I'm definitely extremely excited about the
direction we're taking with my business,
and to think it all started when I attended
my first seminar back in May of 2006.

And seeing that a live event made such an
impact on me (in fact, attending a live
seminar is how most of the experts online
today got started)...
[ed: emphasis mine]

I really want to make it a point to meet as
many people as I can, especially before I
leave the country again.

So if you live in Orlando or will be in the
area this weekend, I'd love to meet you at
Gary Ambrose and Keith Wellman's Gateway
to Wealth Seminar.

http://www.GatewaySeminar.com

Or, if you live near the Scottsdale area,
Lynn Pierce is also having an event.

Womens Business Empowerment Summit

Ya, I know this is a little last minute...

So if you need a little more time, you can
still catch me at my final live appearance
in the U.S. next weekend:

http://www.3SidesOfTraffic.com

Unlike a seminar where I only get to spend
90 minutes with you, we'll have the entire
weekend together working hands on with you
to help you reach your traffic goals.

What's better - I'll be joined by fellow
traffic experts Howie Schwartz and Ross
Goldberg, hence the 3 sides of traffic :)

Would love to catch you before I head out
to Asia again for pretty much the rest of
the year, so register to join us today if
you haven't already!

http://www.3SidesOfTraffic.com

Let me know if you have any questions, and
hope to see you this weekend or next :)

Thanks, Si

It's safe to say that If You Go, You'll likely benefit from the experience. I see it over and over again. The 'big name' Internet Marketers use these Seminars & Internet Marketing Conferences as a way to make their own wallets fatter.

Can you?

"Chicago, Chicago..." have I mentioned? I love Chicago. I was lucky enough to go there a few years back - my daughter graduated from her Navy basic training there - colder than heck that week! eTail East 2008

A recent find, this organization is associated with the famous eComXpo as of their last Free, Online, Live Event! I say we check them out.

eTail East 2008
August 4-7, 2008
Washington, DC

Here's what I see from them:

3 key reasons why eTail DC will provide you with more value than any other internet retail event:

*Over 37 brand new RETAIL speakers offer fresh perspectives that you haven’t heard before
*Every session ties into the “customer experience” – As the online channel continues to grow, putting your customer first will be the key to “customer retention”
*Holiday preparedness – With holiday strategies in place, our sessions will detail all the “little things” that can put you over the top this holiday season!

That's timely, maybe a little late in the year actually. I was reading that prep for the Holiday Season starts in June! Is that how it is for you?

Gateway to Wealth

This is a marvelous opportunity to get into an Internet Marketing Seminar produced by some real pros, Gary Ambrose & Keith Wellman, for securing a seat, the amount is returned to you when you show up and claim that seat.

Net Cost: FREE
Content: Priceless!

Gateway to Wealth
August 1-3, 2008
Orlando, FL

Here's a taste of what they are talking about:

"If you're sick and tired of worrying about how much money you have in the bank, fed up with everyone in your life constantly doubting you, and finally ready to turn your Internet marketing dreams into a profitable reality, then you need to see this -
"Thousands of people just like you are using the Internet, right now, to live the
lives they've always wanted - and YOU can too ... even if you're an absolute
beginner, even if you don't have a technical bone in your body, and even if
you've never managed to make a single cent online!

"For three life-changing days in August, we're going to put you on the path to success, show you exactly how start generating a profit quickly, and let you in the "BIG" secret about how money is really made online. And if you register now, you'll become one of the select few who will get to join us, absolutely free! ( and don't even think about leaving this page without reserving your spot )"

Everywhere you look, they say it's a Content Seminar. I thought this one said 'no pitchfest' too, I just looked and I didn't see that. Very cool all the same. You always meet interesting folks at these things.

Women's Business Empowerment Summit

I like the idea of this Internet Marketing Seminar. She combines a Seminar for women, Internet Marketing and a SPA! See:

Upon arrival to this luxury resort and spa, you'll find three towers in front with fire and water and expansive tropical grounds. From the hotel lobby living room, with its stunning stone fireplace and airy cathedral ceilings, you step out onto the patio and lush garden courtyard flowing into the sandy beach pool and a Mediterranean-inspired lagoon, as well as a torch-lit heated outdoor pool and hot tub surrounded by poolside cabanas and secluded fire pits.

In the full-service Jurlique spa you can pamper yourself with any number of treatments (think massages, body wraps, facials, manicures).

Well, why not? This should be good...

Sometimes, if you listen, the universe speaks to you. Now, I'm not talking about "hearing voices." I'm talking about that voice inside of you that taps into your subconscious and directs you- if you listen- towards your destiny.

If you're not completely satisfied with your current economic state, pay attention. Making money online is easy, once you know how. UnSeminar5 has been designed to teach you how in a relaxed, entertaining and encouraging environment. You can learn what you need to know to live the life of your dreams- and have a great time while you're doing it.

Kinda' sounds poetic, eh?

More Customers Now Workshop

This sounds like a powerful Seminar:

More Customers Now Workshop
July 25-27, 2008
Gold Coast, Australia

Dave McMahon asks:

"Who Else Wants More Customers Within 90 Days
Or Your Money Back Plus an Extra $500
for Wasting Your Time?"

I say powerful because of what they did for Fuji Xerox:

Fuji Xerox manufactures some of the best photocopiers and printers that you will ever use. The equipment is high tech and very expensive. So they have a team of highly skilled and professional sales people working for them Australia wide. The problem was these highly paid and skilled people were spending more time trying to find quality prospects than they were selling.

So being a Media Strategist I was able to review their needs and give them a media makeover to reduce their costs yet increase their appointment rates. In one case using voice broadcast to leave a personalised message on 67 customer’s answering machines - the next day 10 customers called back wanting to arrange appointments. It was fully automatic, the sales people did not have to make any phone calls.

Have you heard that story before? Now THAT'S Powerful!

This is a special announcement. Please read every word. Here's why...
One thing the attendees of World Internet Summit always want to know how to get is:
TRAFFIC
Let's face it, if you had more traffic, you'd have more sales, right? Simple as that.
Well, for the first time ever on stage, they are allowing an 'under the radar' secret weapon to teach you how it's done.
That's right, not even the "internet gurus" know who he is.
And he is literally going to wipe the floor with anything you currently know about search engine optimisation (SEO). Even better, he knows how to make it simple.
To discover who this man is (and why you'll want to become his best friend), do this now:
STEP 1: Go here right now

World Internet Summit

STEP 2) Scroll half way down the page to the photo of PAUL EASTON

STEP 3) Then if you're even smarter, block out July 17-20, 2008 and do whatever you can to be in Auckland for this event.

Why not right?

**********************************
FOR A LIMITED TIME it's only $197 to attend!
**********************************
Why so low cost for such a huge event over 4 days? Simple - this price is an early bird price only. And secondly, the event has a sponsor. Which takes the pressure off of having to charge you the full $997 ticket price.

But this deal won't last. Tickets are selling fast for this first-time event in New Zealand.

So check out Paul right now and then secure your seat to what is going to be an incredible 4 days with the world's best internet experts:

Online Video Advertising Forum

ClickZ Online Video Advertising - July 22, NYC

Online Video Advertising Forum
July 22, 2008
New York, NY

Something ClickZ wrote up for this:

Online Video Advertising Forum - the reach is out there!

Video has taken over the Web.

Ad-serving technologies are more sophisticated, while broadband penetration is at a near-saturation level. Over 25 percent of consumers said they regularly watch video online, and the top video aggregators disseminate millions of streams every day.

No wonder over a quarter of advertisers and marketers already use online video to market their products and services.

Video formats are more effective for marketers, and more lucrative for publishers. This immersive, one-day forum is for senior advertisers, marketers, publishers, and content providers who are using or considering this very fast-moving medium. Its aim is to educate, inform and provide a comprehensive overview of online video advertising innovations, tools, formats, strategy, metrics, and creative.

IAB Leadership Forum: Mobile

Another in the series:

IAB Leadership Forum: Mobile
July 21, 2008
New York, NY

Interactive Advertising Bureau has this to say:

"Mobile advertising is on the verge of a revolution — and it's much deeper than display advertising popping up on wireless screens. The combination of advanced technology, personalization and an always-on environment opens up epic possibilities to reach consumers in ways not even imagined just a short time ago. Mobile marketing is no longer what's next, it's what's now."

Need a little more information first? I understand. Here ya go:

More than 100 bright, talented people will come together to develop and launch 10-12 companies in one marathon weekend. Friday night, the group will vote on ideas and choose the top dozen or so. After that, each participant will choose an idea/team to work on and spend the rest of the weekend putting everything together for a launch. When all is said and done, each participant will be a co-founder with an ownership interest in at least one honest-to-goodness startup.

Masters Seminar

At Last! The Seminar by Ross Goldberg.

I know Ross seems a little rough around the edges sometimes. He is just so FOR REAL! Give him a chance and don't be put off by that! If I could get to this one, I'd go in a heartbead!

I want to learn from this man and the folks he brings to his annual Seminar:

Masters Seminar
July 18-20, 2008
Chicago, IL

Ross has a remarkable story. You hear it and you just KNOW that you can do this too!

Part of his story:

"My next product bombed... I was so frustrated, I felt like I was on a Yo-yo. Up -- down. Up -- down. Up -- down.

"I needed help, and I didn't have two pennies to rub together.

"Then I heard about this guy, a 'nobody' like me, who boasted he could make $100,000 in 90 days. Then he did it! He'd worked closely with Ken MacArthur. I thought if Ken can help Sterling, maybe he can help me..."

The Ultimate Business Seminar

If you are interested in Internet Marketing, certainly you are interested in doing business. You are just interested in this new media online.

That's why I add in these 'Associated' Seminars. Learning Internet Marketing is a good start. Learning about business too will keep you in business!

The Ultimate Business Seminar
July 11-13, 2008
Los Angeles

Your Host: Chris Howard

Chris gives you the option of attending one of the days for free - you get to pick. If you want to attend 2 or all 3, there is a charge for the extra days. You get one of them at no cost.

A taste of what they are offering at this Seminar:

How much easier would it be if you had mentors, who had navigated the path of wealth creation so you could fast track your success and avoid costly mistakes, yet capitalize on winning strategies? What would be possible for you? How much faster could you build wealth and attain financial freedom?

Imagine waking up every day with the knowledge to multiply your income and profits whenever you chose and hearing those around you commenting how quickly YOU seize financial opportunities that nobody else even notices.

Imagine if you could walk into any market... in any field... in any part of the world and you possessed the wealth secrets of the rich and successful that afforded you the luxuries and lifestyle you've always wanted.

How does that sound?

How DOES that sound? Upon reading further, Chris goes into the story of starting out. It isn't pretty. He figured it out though!

What does it take for me & You? Chris says, "There really is a secret formula for creating real wealth... Anyone can do it. All it takes is some focused time, help from someone who has done it and a willingness to never to give up."

Can you do that?

If You Go, Let Me Know!
